The 31st annual Elly Awards are September 22 in Sacramento

The 31th Annual Elly Award Ceremony –Adult Division will be held on Sunday, September 22 at 7 p.m. at the Red Lion Inn – Woodlake – Grand Ballroom.

This exciting and formal event will celebrate excellence in community theatre in the Comedy, Drama, Musical and Overall Production categories. Local and regional actors, actresses, directors, producers, and technicians will be on hand to announce and receive the coveted awards.

This cabaret-style event, new this year, will feature hot and cold appetizers, a no-host bar overlooking the water and delectable desserts. Seating at tables of 10 will lend to the celebratory atmosphere.

The fabulous Jim Jordan will provide piano accompaniment to help create the mood. Jake Montoya and his amazing dancers will further compliment the evening’s mood.

Musical numbers will be performed by Elly-nominated theatres in the Overall Production–Musical categories and will include performances from Green Valley Theatre, Stockton Civic Theatre, and Davis Musical Theatre Company.
