Auburn Symphony turns 30
The Auburn Symphony celebrates its 30th anniversary with an impressive lineup. Under maestro Peter Jaffe, the “orchestra next door” is performing at its highest level and drawing talented guest musicians from all over.
OCT. 28-29 A first-ever “Halloween Spooktacular,” a pops concert that includes selections from Harry Potter, Ghostbusters, Psycho, and The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
DEC. 5 The annual Messiah Sing-along, with stellar vocalists including soprano Liisa Davila, mezzo-soprano Buffy Baggott; and tenor Jaeho Lee.
JAN. 21 Renowned cellist Amit Peled at the Mondavi Center for the Performing Arts. Peled has been performing with a 1733 Goffriller cello once played by the legendary Pablo Casals.
