Music in Mountain’s Sierra Brewfest on August 27

THIS SUMMER BEER LOVERS CAN RELAX under towering pines at one of the state’s most beautiful fairgrounds and taste superb brews from more than two dozen microbreweries.

The 22nd annual Sierra BrewFestis Saturday, August 27 at the Nevada County Fairgrounds in Grass Valley. The popular Music in the Mountains fundraiser features hand-crafted beers, food and live music.

“This year promises over 30 of the best microbreweries, offering more than 100 hand-crafted beers,” says Terry Brown, MIM’s co-executive director. “The selection includes lagers, ales, porters, stouts, ciders and more.”

Sip your suds to the sound of Bob Mora and the Third Degree Blues Band. Enjoy grilled sausages and barbeque, Mexican food, crepes, sushi and ice cream.

Tickets cost $25 in advance or $30 at the gate for unlimited tastings and a souvenir beer glass. Designated drivers and non-tasters are free.

Music in the Mountains, the largest classical music group in the foothills, is celebrating its 30th anniversary season.
