West Shore Cafe for summer lakeside dining

THE WEST SHORE Café is located on Tahoe’s West Shore, just steps from Homewood Mountain Resort.

With its beautiful surroundings, warm ambiance and a new summer menu, the West Shore Café is a must-visit destination for superb lake-front dining—whether arriving by car or by boat.

Whether you are enjoying a meal in the classic dining room, having a cocktail at the bar, or basking in the sunshine on the legendary West Shore Café deck and pier, the sight of Lake Tahoe will make a lasting impression.

The menu at the West Shore Café draws from the best that California has to offer: fresh, seasonal produce, seafood and meats.

Lunch focuses on approachable appetizers and entrees to enjoy while taking a break from the many outdoor activities on the West Shore.

The dinner menu offers starters and entrees that will satisfy any appetite and pair well with the wine list and cocktail menu. Dinner reservations are highly recommended.

This summer, guests will have the opportunity to meet West Shore Café’s new executive chef, William “Rusty” Johns.

Chef Johns has created a number of dishes that have already become favorites: Crispy Fried Asparagus with buttermilk dip; Pan-Fried Trout with Crawdads and a side of fries; and Brown-Sugar Brined Pork Chop with mac ‘n’ cheese and apple sauce. The hamburger is one of the best in the area.

The West Shore Café offers a scenic lakefront setting for weddings and special occasion events for up to 200 guests.

The intimate inn at the West Shore Café also offers six mountain-inspired guest rooms and suites that provide guests with luxurious comforts and conveniences such as a daily homemade Continental breakfast and on- demand door-to-door shuttle service to nearby destinations.
