The 15th Annual California WorldFest will be held at the Nevada County Fairgrounds in Grass Valley – Thursday through Sunday, July 12-15.
•More than 6000 attendees per day enjoy World-Class performers from 10 AM to 11 PM on 8 stages
•California’s most beautiful fairgrounds with BIG trees and rolling lawns
•Music, Dancing, Workshops, Crafts, Games, Parades for ALL AGES
•EASY ACCESS within 1 hours drive from Sacramento

This year’s talent features world-class headliners from the US and abroad along with return appearances by WorldFest favorites. Many of the performers are scheduled to give workshops on one of the festivals 8 stages giving fans a chance to listen and interact close-up.

Camping among the pines has become increasingly popular – this year over 2000 folks are expected to camp out. Groups return each year creating elaborate collective campsites, sharing food and jamming (often joined by main stage performers) late into the night.

Highlights:
50% women performers – this is unique.
Community & Culture – Native People’s Village, Aruvedic workshops,
Soul Shake Dance Church, Yoga & Tai Chi, Workshops and Jamming,
Sustainable and Green

The stellar talent and festival layout represent a vision for what a music festival can be that DeWayne and Myers have honed for over 26 years as event producers. Dan joined in starting the Strawberry Music Festival and pioneered the concept of bringing the bluegrass festival formula (where most of the audience camps out and plays music themselves) to a wider audience.

Strawberry spawned a host of festivals using the same formula that are now some of the most successful in the country (High Sierra Festival, the Live Oak Festival, Reggae on the River come to mind). With the California WorldFest Dan and Christine are working to take it to the next level. It’s visionary work.
