Lefty’s Grill Oktoberfest food and beer pairing on October 16

A special October evening dedicated to gourmet cuisine with a Germanic twist is planned for October 16 at Lefty’s Grill. Experience Chefs’ John and Chris’ artful creations, paired with ol’ Republic Brewery’s lagers, ales and stouts.

Expect something exceptional, with local fresh foods, and a diverse range of taste-matched offerings. From scallops, to rabbit and two dessert courses, this event blends the very best of Nevada County with traditional Oktoberfest.

Ol’ Republic Brewery will be bringing favorite lagers, ales and stouts as well as lesser known and limited quantity brews. Craft beers will be carefully paired with the food courses, by brewers Jim Harte and Simon Olney.
