Tie the knot at a California State Park

From the famous Wedding Rock at Patrick’s Point State Park to the historic gardens at Empire Mine State Historic Park to the bluffs at Crystal Cove State Park, many couples choose state parks to be the place where they say “I do.”

That’s why CSPF thinks that California’s state parks are great places to … “Tie the Knot.”

Unique places to “tie the knot” in state parks:

Bale Grist Mill State Historic Park, where wedding can take place alongside the water-powered mill (built in 1846).

Ed Z’berg – Sugar Pine Point State Park with its incredible views of Lake Tahoe along with the historic 12,000 square foot Hellman-Ehrman Mansion.

Jack London State Historic Park, with several wedding locations including the historic ruins of the Kohler and Frohling winery.

Marshall Gold Discovery State Historic Park, with 2 historic churches that can be used for wedding ceremonies.

San Clemente State Beach, where the Historic Cottage provides spectacular views of ocean sunsets.
