Naggiar has new investor — business to continue as usual

“As a valued wine club member or customer of Naggiar Vineyards, we are pleased to announce a major investment by the Headley Property Corporation .The new investment will enable us to continue the growth which has made Naggiar Vineyards the #1 winery in the Sacramento area as voted by KCRA viewers three years in a row. In addition, we are pleased to report that the Naggiar family and current team members will continue to manage and run the business with no major changes to our business strategy or day to day operations.

“Headley Property Corporation was recently a partner in Emery Estates Vineyards, a prestigious Sonoma Valley wine producer. Since the retirement of its Emery partner, Headley has sought a premium California winery and was introduced to Naggiar Vineyards by Derek Irwin who has been the winemaker for both wineries for the last several years.

“Headley Property Corporation is owned by a trust for the benefit of the family of Sir Timothy Sainsbury, retired Minister for Trade and Minister for Industry for the United Kingdom.

“In addition to the new investment, Headley brings to Naggiar Vineyards an inventory of high end Sonoma Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and other wines. To celebrate this new partnership we are making some of these wines available for tasting and purchase as part of our holiday special. So come out to our Wine Club event this weekend and help us celebrate by tasting these new wines that have become part of our extensive selection of premium wines.
