“A Few Good Men” opens at Foothill Theatre in Nevada City

Back by popular demand, LeGacy Productions presents Aaron Sorkin’s A Few Good Men at the historic Nevada Theatre, 401 Broad Street, Nevada City from April 22nd through May 23rd.

This riveting miliatary courtroom drama tells the tale of two marines on trial for murder, after engaging in a disciplinary action against a fellow marine at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Returning in lead roles are Alvis LeGate as Lt. Daniel Kaffee, and Bruce Kellly as Colonel Nathan Jessep.

Joining Kaffee’s JAG defense team is Scott Young (also reprising his role as Lt. Sam Weinberg) and LeGacy newcomer Rebecca Ely as the feisty Lt. Commander Joann Galloway.

Preview night is Thursday April 22nd, with tickets only $15 in advance, and $18 at the door. Gala night celebration Saturday April 24th, doors opening at 7 pm with complimentary hors d’eourves and wine, show at 8 p.m., followed by a champagne toast and reception with the actors. All other performances are: Thursdays 7 p.m., Friday and Saturdays 8p.m., with two Sunday matinees, May 16, and closing May 23 at 2p.m.
