“A Wild Life” is theme for 2015 Wild & Scenic Film Festival

The Wild & Scenic team is proud to announce its official theme for the 2015 Festival. After careful consideration, lots of brainstorming, and some good ol’ fashioned fun, we have arrived at our theme…A Wild Life.

We love the multiple interpretations of this phrase and are thrilled to get to work curating a festival of film, art, music, workshops, and celebrations to honor this theme.

It certainly addresses endangered species and wildlife, a genre well represented at Wild & Scenic. It is also representative of the adventure films we screen–and the adventurers featured in those films–always a highlight for our festival attendees.

Additionally, the phrase embraces the activists featured in many of our documentary films who live a deliberate life often not considered “mainstream” and sometimes thought to be a little on the wild side.

You can look forward to exciting and informative film and speaker content related to our theme, A Wild Life, at the 13th annual Festival happening January 15-18, 2015.
