Gold Miners Inn receives TripAdvisor “Certificate of Excellence”

Gold Miners Inn, 121 Bank Street in downtown Grass Valley, announced that it has received TripAdvisor’s Certificate of Excellence. Now in its sixth year, the achievement celebrates hospitality businesses that have earned great traveler reviews on TripAdvisor over the past year. Certificate of Excellence recipients include hotels around the world that have continually delivered a quality customer experience.

“It’s always rewarding when our commitment to customer service is reflected in the reviews received by our hotel and its staff,” said Gold Miners Inn General Manager Sean Gilleran.

Some of the most recent TripAdvisor guest reviews include comments such as:

“We have stayed here twice and both times have had excellent service and very nice rooms. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfy. I highly recommend this hotel if you happen to be in Grass Valley plus there is a wonderful Northern Italian Restaurant (Milano’s) right behind it.”

“In the past many Holiday Inn properties were in need of a facelift. If my stay at the Gold Miner’s Inn is any indication, things have turned around. The front desk service was excellent, my room was clean, the free wireless worked without a hitch, and the included breakfast was nice – fruit, yogurt, juice, oatmeal for me – eggs, bacon/sausage etc. for others. My hunch is the Gold Miner’s Inn may be the best property in Grass Valley/Nevada City. Lastly, the welcome letter with a bag of peanuts in the room was inventive and a fun read.”

“This Certificate of Excellence is further proof that we always strive to exceed customers’ expectations,” added Gilleran.

“With the Certificate of Excellence, TripAdvisor honors hospitality businesses that have consistently received strong praise and ratings from travelers,” said Heather Leisman, Vice President of Industry Marketing, TripAdvisor. “This recognition helps travelers identify and book properties that regularly deliver great service.”

The Certificate of Excellence accounts for the quality and quantity of reviews submitted by travelers on TripAdvisor over a 12-month period. To qualify, a business must maintain an overall TripAdvisor bubble rating of at least four out of five, have a minimum number of reviews and must have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least 12 months.
