Nevada City musician Joanna Newsom and comedian Andy Samberg set wedding date (but nobody’s telling)

Joanna Newsom, the accomplished harpist, pianist, vocalist and songwriter from Nevada City, is marrying Andy Samberg, the comedic actor from Saturday Night Live, as we have said previously.

Now the couple has officially set the date.

“The comedian revealed to Life & Style that he and his fiancée, Joanna Newsom, have decided when they’ll have their wedding,” as Life & Style is reporting.

“Yes [we’ve set a date],” he told Life & Style while promoting his new Fox show, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, at the 2013 TCAs today, Aug. 1. “But I’m not telling anyone!”

“The former Saturday Night Live star, 34, proposed to his singer-songwriter girlfriend, 31, earlier this year. A rep confirmed their engagement after five years of dating in February.

Meanwhile, Andy told Glamor magazine in the September issue: “We’ve talked about [collaborating.] But we’ve decided ultimately that her fans would probably kill me in my sleep. What she does is so, like, actually beautiful and important,” he gushed.
