Online guide for the Open Studios & Art Tour of Nevada County on Oct. 7, 8, 14 and 15

Visit more than 65 local artists in 43 studios on October 7, 8, 14 and 15, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m., and see where art is made, displayed, and appreciated in western Nevada County. The guide is HERE.

A preview exhibition and opening reception is October 5, from 6-9 p.m., at The Center for the Arts, 314 Main St., in downtown Grass Valley. The Center is hosting a preview exhibit September 28-October 15.

The Fall Colors Open Studios & Art Tour features painters, printmakers, photographers,ceramicists, illustrators, jewelers, designers, woodworkers and more. You will have the opportunity to meet the artists, view new work, and buy original art in a wide range of media and styles.

See their workspace, watch live demonstrations, observe works in progress and learn about an art process from concept to completion. Beyond an art sale, Open Studios is a chance to experience first-hand how, where and why art is created. Our magazine is a proud sponsor.
