Sierra Starr wins multiple gold and double gold medals for its wines this spring

By Sierra Starr

It is with great excitement that we share some of the recent high honors and accolades Sierra Starr has received. Our hand-crafted wines have been recognized in several important competitions and won high marks from major industry publications.

Despite a very competitive field, 5 of the 6 wines we entered won Gold or better, including 3 Double Gold. Leading industry publication Wine Enthusiast magazine gave our 2012 Rising Starr Cabernet Franc Estate Wine a 90 point score. Sierra Starr owner Phil Starr said: “We are honored to be recognized by such a distinguished group of judges and can’t wait to share these award-winning vintages with the most important judges of all – our fellow wine lovers.”
