“Taste of Reno” pairing food & wine on July 15

The Rotary Club of Reno Centennial Sunset will present its annual fundraising event, The Taste of Reno Tahoe, on Sunday, July 15, 2012 at the Atlantis Casino Resort Spa.

This event is designed for the most discriminating palates; featuring original gourmet creations by creative chefs from the region’s finest restaurants, expertly paired with rare, premium wines of selected varietals from many of the most highly regarded boutique wineries in California and Nevada.

A unique, exquisite culinary experience where every guest feels pampered throughout the evening, the Taste of Reno Tahoe delivers an amazing experience. Attendees will enjoy the exceptionally good fare in an intimate setting and introductions to master wine makers and master chefs who reveal the sensual secrets about how flavors of certain gourmet foods come alive with just the right wines.

“The Taste of Reno Tahoe has had great success ‘pairing good wine & food with great works,TM’ said Chip Lindloff, RCS Rotary Foundation chair. “Since its first wine pairing event, the Rotary Club Reno Centennial Sunset has donated nearly 3,000 hours of volunteer time and $85,000 to worthy causes.

“All proceeds fund local and international service projects in cooperation with the RCS Rotary Foundation, Inc. Every year, generous local donations big and small go right back in to our communities to worthy causes related to youth, from basic needs to leadership development.
