Placer Vintners win 46 medals in Chronicle wine competition

The largest competition of American wines in the world names the best of the best. With 7,164 entries this year, the final results are in and Placer County’s vintners hauled in 46 medals including 12 bronze, 25 silver, 6 gold, one double gold and two best of class awards. Congratulations to all the winners and especially to Casque Wines for picking up the two best of class awards beating out all of the other entries in those categories. This is yet another strong showing affirming the high caliber and quality of wines being produced locally right here in Placer County.
