THE BROAD STREET INN, NEVADA CITY
The inn, originally built in 1870, is a beautiful Victorian at the top of Broad Street, a short walk to shopping, dining, theater and wine tasting. Some travelers find Victorian inns too “dated” inside—but not the Broad Street Inn. It’s fresh, bright and cheerful, with all the modern amenities, including flat-screen TVs and wi-fi. The outdoor space includes a backyard patio with a fire pit and an old-fashioned front porch. The inn is eco-friendly.
