Miners Foundry’ Artisans Festival on Nov. 23-25

Like The Center for the Arts, the Miners Foundry Cultural Center in Nevada City offers diverse and engaging performing arts, and cultural opportunities. Built in 1856, the Miners Foundry is the birthplace of the Pelton Wheel.

Artisans Festival Nov. 23-25 For over 35 years, Thanksgiving weekend in Nevada City has featured this major art event, attracting thousands of visitors. Sculpture, woodworking, jewelry, pottery, photography, paintings, handblown glass, porcelain and printmaking are a sampling of the art that will be on display and for sale.

Other events at Miners Foundry include Nisenan Heritage Day October 13 and Fright Night October 27. Visit MinersFoundry.org for more information.
