NOV. 3: A CELEBRATION OF SONG

MIM presents “A Celebration of Song” at Peace Lutheran Church in Grass Valley.

It is the performing arts group’s first fall choral concert and Ryan Murray’s debut as the Artistic Director and Conductor of Music in the Mountains.

The MIM Chorus performs Lux Aeterna, and Liisa Davila sings music of Rachmaninoff, Sibelius, and Straussa, among others. During MIM’s production of Carmen this spring, Davila played Michaela. Her talent is not to be missed.

NOV. 16: AN AUTUMN AFFAIR
MIM presents “An Autumn Affair” at the Foothill Events Center in Grass Valley. Enjoy a five-course gourmet dinner paired with wine.

Auction items include a weekend rental of a Tesla; home for a week in Italy; hand-turned wooden bowls; and an Italian dinner for eight in a private home; a private airplane tour over Nevada County; a crawdad and shrimp boil dinner; and jewelry from Utopian Stone, Stucki Jewelers and La Cache.

Other auction items include a Honda ATV; a two-year-lease for a Mercedes 300C; a watercolor painting by Patricia Montijo; three nights for up to six people in the wine country; a bouquet a month from Foothill Flowers; a conducting role at a Holiday Choral Concert; a tour of Jan Anderson’s art glass studio; and premium parking for concerts at The Center for the Arts.
