Sierra Master Chorale: “Caroling, Caroling Now We Go”
THE JOYOUS VOICES OF INCONCERT’S Sierra Master Chorale are a highlight of the holiday concert season in our region. From Beethoven’s ““Hallelujah Chorus” to Burt’s “Caroling, Caroling” and Biegel’s “Hanukah Fantasy,” this year’s concert is an eclectic and inspiring program. October 21 Pianist Anne-Marie McDermott
Pianist Anne-Marie McDermott is a consummate artist who balances a versatile career as a soloist and collaborator. She performs over 100 concerts a year in a combination of solo recitals, concerti and chamber music. Her repertoire ranges from Bach and Haydn to Prokofiev and Wuorinen.
November 18 Philadelphia Brass
From the stage of the Royal Albert Hall to the heights of the Bolivian Andes, Philadelphia Brass has delighted audiences with virtuosity, artistry, and cohesiveness seldom heard in live chamber music. They have been enthusiastically praised for their diversity of repertoire, technical brilliance, and superb musicality.
December 15-16 Sierra Master Chorale and Orchestra
This will be the final holiday concert led by the Chorale’s music director and conductor Ken Hardin, though Ken will continue as artistic director of InConcert Sierra. The choir has chosen favorites of past holiday concerts, and Ken has added his own favorites.
