Farrell’s Ice Cream opens Thursday in Sacramento after 30 years

Farrell’s Ice Cream Parlor reopens in Sacramento on Thursday after 30 years.

Farrell’s Sacramento is located near the intersection of Watt Ave. and Arden Way. The location is 8,700 square feet and will seat 300 guests, according to Farrell’s website. It will have a large, old-time candy store just like Farrell’s fans remember and love, as well as all the classic food, parties and ice cream concoctions Farrell’s is known for — including the Pig’s Trough, Zoo and Gibson.

Original Farrell’s fans will recognize the décor, uniforms, music, songs, sirens, drums and unique party atmosphere that Farrell’s is famous for.

Much time and effort is being put into restoring the classic Farrell’s experience for everyone to enjoy.
