Golden Era launches a guest bartender series

The new Golden Era cocktail lounge in Nevada City is launch a guest bartender series.

Each month, on the fourth Tuesday, Golden Era will feature a “drink slinging, cocktail shaking imbibers from across the state,” it says.

The first guest is Rick Dobbs, owner of The Last Word (Drink Eat Gather) in Livermore, CA. His bar quickly gained fame from their flawless cocktail execution, great music, exceptional staff, and a series of hilarious You Tube videos.

All to which helped elevate them to 2015 finalist for “Best Small Wonder Bar” in the United States by Nighclub & Bar online magazine.
