Help well-known Nevada City harpist Lisa Stine recover her harps

Harp8“Lisa Stine has been a loving and giving member of the Nevada County community for decades. She has played for many non-profit groups and youth, cancer survivor and educational events,” according to a flyer we received and correspondence with one of her friends. “This is a tragedy for her. Let’s help her restore her spirits and faith.”

Below are her precious harps. She also lost family heirloom jewelry and favored jewelry with harp motif.”

I exchanged some emails with Lisa’s friend, Lucy Bottrell, who owns Mother Truckers, this past weekend. “She is a wonderful local harp teacher,” Lucy said, adding “She was Joanna Newsom’s first harp teacher and has given endlessly to the Cancer Center.”

A reward is being offered for information leading to the recovery of Lisa’s harps and jewelry, stolen between August 23-28.
