Lake in the Sky Airshow at South Lake Tahoe is cancelled due to smoke

The Lake in the Sky Airshow committee and the City of South Lake Tahoe regretfully have cancelled the 24th Annual Lake in the Sky Airshow scheduled for Saturday,August 24th, 2013 due to smoke, poor visability and air quality.

Two large fires — the Rim Fire and American Fire — continue to burn outside the Lake Tahoe Basin.
