Northstar, Heavenly will open on Saturday

Northstar and Heavenly ski areas will open on Saturday, a day later than planned, they announced on Friday.

The number of trails will be limited but it comes as welcome relief for Thanksgiving week skiers. Boreal Mountain Resort also is open.

Northstar California is opening for the 2013.2014 ski and snowboard season on Saturday, November 23, 2013.
Ticket Rates for November 23 – 26
• Adult: $90
• Child (5-12): $49
• Child ( 4 & under): Free
• Teen (13-18): $75
• Senior (65+): $75
Lifts
• Big Springs Gondola: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
• Vista: running 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
• Arrow: running 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Trails
• Skid Trail
• Upper Lumberjack
• Upper Main Street
• Lower Main Street
