The Olive Groove launches Instagram photo contest and teams up with Polly’s Paladar

The Olive Groove is a proud sponsor of Polly’s Paladar and is thrilled to announce their products will be incorporated in Tropicali, a July 13 and 14 event. The store also is hosting an Instagram photo contest starting July 1. The winner will receive a $60 gift card eligible for in-store and online purchases.

In an effort to build business and community through digital media and the reinvigorated food scene in Nevada County, owners Jake and Christina West announced a photo contest and new chef partnerships.

“Our customers are everyone from top chefs, enthusiastic home cooks, to busy families that love how easily our products take dish or cocktail to the next level,” says Christina West, owner of The Olive Groove in Grass Valley. “We’ve noticed an increase in online sales and food culture interest in our area. We thought we’d have some fun this summer to see what all our fans are making and share it.”

“We want to see how people get their ‘groove on,'” adds Jake West, who recently hosted chef Renè Medina to an in-store tasting in preparation for his appearance at Polly’s Paladar, the Nevada City private supper club. “With so many new spots opening in Nevada County, it is a great time to be at the nexus of the food scene here. Everyone needs olive oil, spices, and vinegar, and we are excited for our new partnerships.”

Partnering with chefs is the next step in the store’s business evolution and the team is looking forward to welcoming more strategic partnerships with food enthusiasts online and at local events.
