BriarPatch’s food is nutritious, organically grown and free of artificial additives — good for our health but also the environment. Shopping at “The Patch” also strengthens the local economy.

Here’s a rundown of what’s offered:

PRODUCE
The freshest fruits and vegetables, and 99 percent organic. Enjoy summer veggies grown on local and regional farms, including varieties of lettuce and greens, cucumbers, squash, berries, stone fruit, herbs, sprouts, microgreens and tomatoes. Pick up a beautiful locally grown bouquet of flowers for the dinner table.

MEAT & SEAFOOD
BriarPatch is committed to offering the best local, organic, and natural grass-fed meats (beef, pork, lamb, buffalo), as well as free-range poultry and sustainably caught and farmed seafood. All of the Co-op’s natural and organic meat suppliers pledge no hormones or antibiotics.

BEER AND WINE
The Co-op’s beer selection is full of local, regional and national microbrewery choices. Co-op wine buyers have hand-picked a wide selection of foothills’ wines, organic wines, and regional, national and imported options.

BULK
Shop from an extensive selection of bulk foods with staples for making grain and bean salads or herbal sun tea. Buying in bulk costs less and reduces packaging waste. For summer hiking and backpacking trips, explore the full line of unsweetened and sulfur-free trail mixes and paleo granola.

HEALTH & WELLNESS
Natural and organic supplements and body care products are made from quality ingredients and are not tested on animals. The store’s knowledgeable staff always is available to help. For summer, pick up your chemical-free bug spray and reef safe sunblock.

GRAB N’ GO DELI
Choose from the daily hot bar, salad bar, deli service case, and made-to-order menu and juice bar, or grab a pre-made baked good, sandwich, salad or entrée.

FROZEN TREATS
Don’t forget the vast assortment of decadent dairy and dairy-free frozen treats, including ice cream, gelato, frozen yogurt and sorbet.
